Spent the day up in Picher, Oklahoma. Hand to go along to help keep the equipment running so they could cover the story. Picher was unfortunately the target of a rather large and destructive tornado that took out a large portion of the town. I was lucky enough to be able to document some of the aftermath and witness the survivors beginning to return. Despite all they have been through, the people of Picher have been amazing in working together to recover personal items and work towards the future. I have added a small collection of the photos I took to share what I witnessed while there.
